How does it work?

Once you have added yourself to the ladder(s) you’d like to be on, Tomas will set up the first match. Subsequent matches will be coordinated by the players on the ladder.

You can challenge any person two spots above or below you on the ladder and vice versa. If you accept a challenge (or a player accepts your challenge), the match then must take place within 7 days.

Players are responsible for scheduling a convenient time to play as well as booking the court with the MAC.

Ladders Rules

Once each match is completed you will need to report your scores to Julie at jfrates@macbythesea.com.

Everyone playing on a ladder must play in at least two matches per month or they will be removed from the ladder.

These adult ladders will be used to create seedings for the Club Championship next Spring.

Rules for the Bump Ladder (Singles)

  • Matches are 2 sets with match tie breaker (about 1 hour).
  • Winner submits the scores to Julie at jfrates@macbythesea.com
  • If the lower seeded players wins, they “bump up” and switch places with the person they beat.
  • A player can challenge up to 2 spots ahead of them.

Rules for the Point System Ladder (Doubles)

  • All participants in the ladder can pair with whomever they want each week
  • Winning team gets 3 points for winning a match, losing team gets 1 point for playing.
