Lindsay Mzaouakk
Director of Fitness, Master Trainer
Lindsay began personal training and teaching group fitness classes after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. She holds certifications in ACE Personal Training, Functional Movement Screening, Stott Pilates, Les Mills Body Pump, Zumba, PiYo, TRX, Total Barre, Barre Above, and Bolly X and is a graduate of Dance Teachers Club of Boston.
Lindsay’s passion for fitness developed at a young age after studying various styles of dance, and teaching dance to children, teens and adults. She currently teaches Mat Pilates, Zumba, PlyoJam and Barre at Manchester Athletic Club and was the Group Fitness Director for 14 years and is currently the Fitness Director.
Lindsay enjoys teaching and motivating people of all ages and fitness levels to reach their goals. She likes to teach her class participants and clients about proper body alignment, posture and educate about general fitness and muscle actions. Lindsay was an Amateur and Professional Ballroom Dance Competitor for over 15 years in the Latin Ballroom and American Rhythm Style, competing and performing nationally. Now Lindsay spends her free time being a mom to her 2 young children and salsa dancing.

Nikki Parisi
Director of Group Fitness, Master Trainer
Nikki earned her Associates Degree at Burdett Business School in 1989. After having her first child she knew that she had to fight genetics and got involved in group fitness. She has been in the industry for almost 3 decades, and working at Manchester Athletic Club for the past 23 years as a Master Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. From beginner, elderly or athlete,
Nikki loves helping people set and reach their fitness goals, and enjoys teaching a wide variety of classes including SPIN, Muscle Conditioning, and TRX. She was responsible for the launching of our Fit-At-Any-Age Class, and helped with the Start up of the American Cancer Society’s Spin for Hope. When it comes to Personal Training, Nikki emphasizes the importance of combining cardiovascular, functional, strength training and fun into her clients programs.
Nikki’s certifications include: NETA and AFAA Personal Trainer, Madd Dog SPIN Instructor, Kickboxing, Step, TRX, INDO ROW, Functional Movement Specialist, and Senior Fitness. When not teaching a class or Personal Training, enjoys fitness conferences, the beach, gardening, travel, and spending time with her family and friends. Her passion is rowing, and spends as much time as possible on the water.

Eric Dunstan
Fitness Operations Coordinator, Personal trainer
Eric graduated from Cornell University in 2013 with a degree in Sociology. He was a member of the varsity polo team all four years. After recovering from a fall while riding, he found his passion for fitness. He enjoys coaching clients of all ages and abilities, as well as instructing classes and groups. He employs a range of fitness techniques, from strength and power, to endurance and stability. Working out should not just be a self challenge, but also fun. He is NASM certified.

Haley Allison
Pilates Instructor
What began as a love for fitness blossomed into a passion to help others enjoy a more active lifestyle. In the industry since 2004 Haley has acquired many different fitness certifications. As the Pilates Reformer Studio Coordinator, Haley is fully trained in Stott Reformer, an equipment based Pilates repertoire, as well as Essential and Intermediate Pilates Mat Work. You can also find Haley teaching in our barre studio and other group ex classes as well. Due to her extensive education in the fitness industry, Haley has acquired a deep knowledge of fitness, and as a result her clients reap those rewards.

Tommy McDonald
Personal Trainer
Tommy has been a Personal Trainer for over 10 years and brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm into all he does with his classes and clients! He holds certifications in AAPT Boston, Schwinn Spin, Strength & Conditioning, aquatics, and is a certified Lifeguard through the YMCA.
Tommy is a graduate of Norwich University where he was the senior captain of the basketball team as well as a 1,000 point scorer with a career high of 40 points in one game. Along with being a fitness enthusiast, Tommy is the head basketball coach for the Gloucester High School girls Varsity team as well as a basketball coach for the nationally ranked and recognized program Mass Rivals AAU. In Tommy’s first season Winter 2022-2023 at Gloucester, he was named NEC Coach of the Year. “As a basketball skills instructor, I provide clinics to basketball players of all ages. I also provide private and group basketball lessons, which include shooting, footwork, conditioning, and positional coaching”.
Tommy enjoys running both individual training and group training classes for people of all ages and abilities. “My goal with my clients, both young and old, is to help them build confidence and encourage them to believe they can do anything they set their mind to in and out of the gym. As a personal trainer, I manage my own schedule, design personalized workouts, and motivate my clients to reach their personal fitness goals. As a Spin Instructor I am high energy and try to motivate my students to push themselves and have fun at the same time. This entails preparation of playlists which are motivational and choreographed for the class”. In addition to being a busy coach and trainer Tommy is a father to a little girl Named Avery.

Nathan Zimmerman
Personal Trainer, Kickboxing Instructor
Nathan is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a certified level 2 Sports Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting, a certified Strong First Girya Instructor, and a G3 certified Krav Maga Global Instructor. He holds a MS in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, SLO.
Nathan assisted at a SFG(certification) for the first time in November, 2015. His experience includes working as a physical therapy aide at the Body and Balance Center in San Luis Obispo and as a volunteer aide at Bell Trace in Bloomington, Indiana. At Bell Trace, he treated shoulder, knee, hip, and back injuries. Nathan also had the privilege of interning at Athlon Elite under Ryan Joiner. Since then, he has gained experience in the fitness field through working at the Cal Poly Rec Center as a personal trainer, as well as helping with strength and conditioning for a local kickboxing team.
Nathan has trained with and learned from the likes of well known and influential trainers in the strength and conditioning community including Dan John, Pavel Tsatsouline, Doug Nepodal, Brett Jones, Jeff O’Connor, Max Shank, Kelly Starrett and David Whitley.
Martial Arts Background:
Nathan started his martial arts training in 1995, training Taekwondo in South Korea. He participated in worldwide competition at Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Center. Nathan really started getting serious about his martial arts training in 2006, training Hawaiian Kempo and Grappling at SLO Kickboxing in San Luis Obispo California. In 2007 he transitioned to Krav Maga and Muay Thai and fell in love with both systems.
In 2009 Nathan passed his Level 1 Krav Maga Instructor test with Krav Maga Worldwide and competed in his first Muay Thai bout, which he won. While pursuing his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Cal Poly, Nathan continued his Muay Thai and Krav Maga training, continuing to compete in Muay Thai all through college and added boxing training with boxing coach Darby Evans.
After graduation, Nathan opened his own Krav Maga school in 2013 and made the transition to training with Krav Maga Global under the tutelage of Alan Predolin and Eyal Yanilov.
Nathan is currently a Second-Degree Black Belt with 360 Krav Maga under Alan Predolin and a Bang Muay Thai Purple Belt under Sensei Duane Ludwig. Nathan continues to train with and learn from some of the best combat sports practitioners on the planet. He’s currently training and coaching boxing at Sonny’s Boxing and Fitness

Heather McClelland
Personal Trainer
Heather likes to call herself sporty spice! She loves playing all sports. Growing up she was always running around in the neighborhood playing tennis, baseball, volleyball, playing “Olympics” and swimming. She was also a national level gymnast. Training 4-6 hours/day helped develop her discipline, fortitude, flexibility, strength, and conditioning. She has been in the industry for 20 years and loves learning new techniques in training, and is inspired by all aspects of training.
In Heather’s words:
“I am fascinated by the anatomy of the human body and the way it functions. Functional training: mobility, stability, endurance and strength are my favorite forms of training. I am a passionate trainer who likes to push my clients to their full potential. Safety and good form are key components of our workouts. I love working with clients who are willing to have fun, make gains and become stronger and more confident,”
Heather’s certifications include NASM, Group Fitness, Booty Barre, and USA Gymnastics Certified Coach.
Susan Palmero
Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer
Susan has been working as a fitness professional on the North Shore for 25 years. She holds certifications in AFFA/ Personal Training, AFFA/ Group Exercise, BBU/ Reformer, TRX, Madd Dog Athletics/ Spin, Pilates, Kickboxing, Strength Training, along with teaching various group fitness classes. She has directed group exercise programs and operates a small business for women’s fitness.
Susan’s passion for strength training developed in her young adult years realizing along with a strong, fit, healthy body, came a strong mind. This motivated her to design programs and classes for women to build long, lean, muscles. Infusing her personal training experience with group training she advocates form, technique and body function/movement into her group fitness classes.
Living on the North Shore she enjoys being outdoors and staying active with biking, hiking, or exercising on the beach. Susan believes keeping her body moving is a great strategy on fighting the aging process. To create a happy, healthy lifestyle she spends her free time with family and friends.

Emily Pecora
Personal Trainer
Emily graduated from Boston University with a degree in Psychology in 2008. She is a NASM certified Personal Trainer and has been a certified SPIN Instructor since 2009. Diagnosed with an autoimmune disease at 20 years old, Emily turned to fitness to strengthen physical and emotional health at a time when prior practices and routines no longer supported her body.
Throughout her career as both a mental health counselor, and her work in public education, she has honed skills that help clients make a strong body-mind connection to reach their goals. Using functional techniques with a focus on form, she loves teaching all ages and levels how to make fitness fun. Emily enjoys working in the garden and spending time with her family.
