meredith cooney personal trainer

Meredith Cooney

Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Thai Massage Therapist

Meredith began personal training in 2020. At the time she was living in Turkey. Being in a foreign country while Covid was fairly new, there was little access to equipment and she had to get creative with her programming. This led to her love of Barre and Pilates. After moving back to the states, with access to more fitness modalities, she started CrossFit. Still being influenced from Barre and Pilates she enjoyed the diversity in her training.

Making connections with her clients and helping them feel their best is why she is so passionate about health and fitness. Meredith is a certified personal trainer through AFPA, a nutrition consultant, a pre/post-natal fitness specialist, a mat Pilates and Barre instructor, a CrossFit L1 coach, and a Thai bodywork practitioner. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, painting, and reading.

With her love for travel and food she visited Chaing Mai Thailand, where she discovered Thai massage. This form of bodywork appealed to her because it was both energizing and relaxing, she knew it would be perfect for her clients. Meredith views health and well being in a holistic way, knowing that nutrition, fitness, and recovery are all equally vital aspects of a healthy body. Creating a fun and successful path to health is why she loves her job.
