“Softball has always been a passion of mine, and my greatest joy is sharing that love with the next generation of young athletes. This sport has given me so much more than athletic skills—it has taught me invaluable life lessons. My goal is to help young players cultivate their passion for softball and transform it into a powerful foundation for success both on and off the field. I am committed to fostering confidence and resilience in my players, equipping them with the tools, skills, and determination they need to achieve their goals.”
Softball Clinics for Middle and High School Girls:
Join us at the Manchester Athletic Club on the newly opened turf this January for an exciting and inclusive softball clinic! Run by Dessa Daras, a former softball player with over 10 years of experience, designed to help young athletes grow, learn, and thrive! This clinic is open to middle school and high school girls, with a focus on teaching and enhancing the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, base running, and positional play.
Middle school participants will concentrate on developing core skills and building confidence on the field, while high school players will work on sharpening their techniques and staying game-ready for the upcoming season.
As an added feature, we are offering a 30-minute optional fitness session led by one of our trainers, Alex Chase, a former softball player. While participation in this fitness portion is encouraged, it is not mandatory. The session is designed to highlight the importance of strength in softball and how it can make a significant difference in performance, including building power, agility, and endurance.
Don’t miss this opportunity to build your softball skills and passion alongside other dedicated players! For questions and to register, please contact Dessa at ddaras@macbythesea.com
